Luxembourg - Clausen (LU)

The challenges in designing that houses were:

- As the plot is in a very historical district of the city, to strictly respect the volume of two pre-existing small houses we replaced with this new single family house

- To give this new house a contemporary expression and an up-to-date quality of life in respecting the historical traditional built surroundings, dialoging with it and capturing picturesque views on it and on the spectacular rocky cliffs around the place.

- To guaranty an energy efficiency at a B-class level in this urban and historic context.
