Inclusive Hotel KAUL
STEINMETZDEMEYER won the architectural competition for the design of an innovative inclusive hotel project in Wiltz.
This extraordinary hotel will be located on the slopes of Park Kaul like a belvedere opening onto the valley.
Designed for the inclusion of everyone from staff to customers, the innovative architecture puts the people at the very heart of the project by offering an attractive interior path connecting the many functions such as accommodation, housing and a set of places for versatile activities like co-working, fitness, seminars, etc.
Settled on a mineral base, the lobby designed as a large hall open to all and crossed by a promenade that connects the village to the valley. Covering this space wide open to the landscape, the floors housing the bedrooms and staff quarters take the form of wooden construction placed on stilts.
The bedrooms with balconies enjoy breathtaking views over the valley while the accommodations benefit from the south orientation and interact with the neighboring houses.
