Esch-Belval (LU)
The project is a composition of three monoliths. They are STRONG given their massive character and the rigour of their structural grid. They are LIGHT given the composition of the stone cladding with marked vertical reveals and the life expressed by the very large bays laid out randomly on the grid. On the urban scale, the architects exploit the topics of the repetition and of the grand scale offered by the work on three large buildings in a row. On the pedestrian level the three HALLS form an urban punctuated LINE and in the skyline of the city the three TOWERS create strong POINTS of reference.
